Scrapbooks of concert and theater programs, 1869-1916.

Programs, 1869-1916, of vocal and instrumental recitals, the Buffalo Philharmonic and visiting orchestras, opera, bands and other types of concerts. There are many programs of local music organizations, including Buffalo Orpheus and the Chromatic Club, as well as recitals given by Buffalo School of Music students and pupils of private music teachers. Venues include the Academy of Music, Music Hall, Elmwood Music Hall, Broadway Auditorium, and others. Also, theater programs and handbills of Shea's, the Star, the Teck, and other Buffalo theaters. Performers include Ignace Paderewski, Edwin Booth, Sarah Bernhardt, and others of note. There are also handmade programs for recitals by Lewis' pupils. Also, several photographs and newsclippings.
